A collection of awesome recipes ( click here) . I will definately try some of these once I graduate. Hopefully the smell isn't to bad and I pray that I dont cause any smoke alarms to go off.

I wouldn't be too worried about the smoke alarm going off.

Mine goes off all the time (even with the fan on), regardless of whether or not there appears to be any smoke. I think my smoke alarm is having an identity crisis because it sometimes beeps at 6am like an alarm clock.

Faray, the prathas are not healthy...so that increases the torture--on our body --and since it has rights over us too, we ideally shoundnt soak it in oil. Of course the prathas could be without the ghee... ...( I thought i was masochist caus I HAD to eat my own food)

Suhaila, I sometimes feel that these smoke alarms have a brain of their own...and maybe even a sense of smell....I wonder if they have a sense of humour? Will they understand my jokes?

Ever been to those appartment Buildings in the GTA area. You enter the buildings and all you can smell is food. I guess the ventalation systems werent designed for Aunty cooking.

We always complain about Chinise cooking smells ( I have lived with a few chinise ppl) I am sure they find ours just as bad...

In my home I will have several specially designed exhaust fans so that the smell goes away quick rather then bothering my neighbors or entering my clothes.
